Nemasys G Chafer Grub Killer is a fast-acting biological control designed to target chafer grubs in lawns, sports turf, golf greens, and ornamental grass areas. It uses the natural power of Heterorhabditis bacteriophora nematodes, microscopic beneficial organisms that actively seek and infect chafer larvae in the soil. Once applied to moist turf, these nematodes penetrate the grubs, releasing symbiotic bacteria that quickly kill them from within.

This chemical-free, eco-friendly solution is safe for children, pets, wildlife, and pollinators, making it ideal for both domestic gardens and professional grounds maintenance. Best applied between mid-August and early October, when chafer grubs are young and active near the surface. The soil temperature must be above 12°C for successful treatment.

Application Guide
Application Window: Mid-August to early October
Soil Temperature: Minimum 12°C at 5–10cm depth
Pre-application: Water the area well to ensure the soil is moist
Application Method: Mix nematodes with water and apply using a watering can (with coarse rose), hose-end sprayer, or nematode applicator
Post-application: Keep soil moist for at least 2 weeks to allow nematodes to penetrate and infect grubs
